Day 1
I’m starting a fruit and yogurt fast/diet today. The plan is to do it for five days and see how I feel, and if I feel good about it, I may continue it longer. I’m hoping I can get so adjusted to eating super-healthy stuff that I’ll find the thought of junk food/sweets/bread completely unappetizing.
So far today I’ve had a Stonyfield Farms organic peach smoothie and a banana. It’s after noon and I’m not hungry yet. This is new.
The biggest downside I’m seeing so far is the lack of coffee has me a little foggy feeling. But I knew that would happen. If I start getting a headache from it I’ll probably take some Excedrin, and if it continues maybe I’ll add tea to the diet to replace the caffeine.
I’m hoping to find time to write about how it’s going each day. Plus, if I put it out there that this is what I’m doing, then it’ll be harder to rationalize cheating. So yeah, if I post about eating a brownie or something, yell at me.
